One of the biggest projects for the Biology, Health, and Language Arts classes was the cancer scrapbook project. We started this project by researching exactly what caused cancer. We talked to real surgeons and resident surgeons about the course of illness our characters were going to take to make sure it was scientifically correct, then we talked to real cancer survivors to make sure our story was realistic in the eyes of someone who has had cancer. This project took about one month to complete and this is one of the projects I had the most challenges with so far. The quality that my group used most was collaboration because everybody in the group had different parts in the book and we had to make sure all parts were finished and that all of the parts fit together to make one coherent book.
