I am what I am Poem- 1st Quarter
Contradicting Question
I am the question without an answer,
the question that drives you crazy.
I am the silence that speaks louder than words.
I am what I am.
I am the sword slicing through the lies,
continuously seeking the truth.
I am the fear of failure, preventing you from trying.
I am what I am.
I am the sun rising in the west, never sticking to the rules.
I am the ghost of lost dreams,
made from the regrets of never achieving that dream.
I am what I am.
I am as warm as frost, as cold as fire.
I am the flames capable of both life and death,
And I am the shadow that exists wherever there is light.
I am the clouds that cover the moon.
I am the flower that grows behind the waterfall.
I am the mountain reduced to rubble and
the typhoon that destroys the village.
I am what I am.
I am the pounding of the drums, calling out for war.
I am the blood spilled defending the pure of heart.
I am the greatest warrior and the weakest serf.
I am just another spark born from an ever living fire.
I am what I am.
I am the yin and yang put together and in the end,
I am my own contradiction.
